Here we offer a two days trip with a starting point in the Imperial City of Marrakech. Venture along some of the most emblematic places in Morocco
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
We leave Marrakech in the morning at 08.00 am for Zagora travelling through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. We pass numerous Berber villages, then arrive at the UNESCO world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou for a short visit, after our visit we continue to Zagora passing by the Anti Atlas Mountains, the Berber village of Agdez and the Draa Valley with its plantation of hundreds of thousands of palm trees: which is considered the largest one in Morocco.
We arrive in Zagora late afternoon and get ready for a camel trek towards the desert landscapes to admire the sunset. After experiencing the sunset, you continue to your Sahara desert camp for dinner under the stars next to a fire camp while being entertained by some local drumming bands.
Day 2: Zagora – Tamnougalt – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes (Optional), ride your camel back to Zagora to reach your vehicle, and then we drive through the Draa valley and Agdez to visit Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, then we return to Marrakech.
