Departure from Marrakech | Duration 5 days

Marrakech, the great Imperial City of Morocco is the ideal starting point for some of the most interesting excursions in Morocco and to the desert.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges

We depart from Marrakech for this 5 day tour in the direction of the High Atlas Mountains, crossing its highest drivable point at the pass of Tizi n´Tichka at 2260 metres altitude. On the way over the mountains you will see many typical Berber villages and farms. Descending on the other side we will reach the film capital of Ouarzazate, known as a location where many blockbuster movies have been made and from there we start on the road of the Thousand Kasbahs. We’ll take a track to give you the opportunity to enjoy the quiet mountains inhabited by the nomadic Berbers and where you will explore a new sense of the everyday life and discover the stunning Dades Gorges. After this, we will stay in a hotel nearby.

You will spend the night in a wild oasis located 2 hours walking into the desert. There will be local hospitality and entertainment and great food. You will sleep in a Berber tent under the stars.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Nkob – Ouarzazate
